PRG 5 DEB 11 HOB 18 SCUTE 108 SC 5002 (north of Winyah Bay jetty accounts for 4.1% of SC nests down from 7% in 2019)

SAVE the DATE for the 2023 S.C.U.T.E. Loop – Saturday, October 28!

7-15-23 HOB17 was laid below the spring tide line and had to be relocated. Wendy moved 90 eggs + 1 for DNA to better habitat directly behind this location.
7-15-23 Wendy relocated HOB17 directly back and slightly north for safer incubation.
7-15-23 HOB18 was laid just above the spring tide line and Wendy left it natural. She feels we will need to keep an eye on it since it will be a September hatch.
