2 Hobcaw nests!

Hobcaw: Kathi A., joined by Duane, had a busy morning with 2 potential nests on either side of #9mm. Duane, who is working toward certification, showed what he has learned to date and did very well locating both chambers…Go Duane!

HOB22  15 yds. north #10mm    HOB23   80 yds. south #8mm

Kathi and Duane found this long crawl north #10mm on Hobcaw.
Duane located the egg chamber of HOB22 and protected the nest from predators.
HOB23 was found south #8mm on Hobcaw. Duane, working toward certification probed and located the clutch of eggs.
After a busy morning, Duane was happy to find the nest of HOB23 and show the egg that will be used for DNA…go Duane!
