Hobcaw: We have only had 5 nests on the isolated stretch of beach this season. We believe one turtle has laid 4 of those 5 nests. This morning, Martha had a surprise when she found a new nest just south of #10mm! She probed and found a shallow egg chamber. The nest was just above the wrack line so by SCDNR protocol, she left it natural. Congratulations Martha on 2 nests in 3 days!
