North: We will inventory natural DEB09 dated 6/17 located just south of #16mm at Prince George at 6:00 p.m. tonight. This is a 1.2 mile walk from the Beach Club walkway or a .9 mile walk from the North Access Rd. This morning there was one lone track out of the still-emerging nest.
Hobcaw: Bill found natural nest HOB03 dated 6/24 beginning to hatch around 7:30 a.m.! He was able to take several videos as 6 turtles emerged from the chamber. A daytime hatch is a rare occurrence and is perfect for capturing the moment without flash photography!
