Tonight was the inventory marathon with 2 at Prince George and 1 south #8mm. We have been enjoying awesome hatch successes but tonight was a departure with 2 not so good inventories. These were all natural nests so this is nature at its best and worst. There were no live hatchlings in any of the 3 nests. Thanks to Mitzi for being the photographer for the PG nests.

DEB10  5/31  8 yds. south #8mm (just north of DeBordieu on Arcadia) Susan, Kathi, Jim, Martha, Steven   58% (roots)

DEB09  5/31  15 yds. south #14mm (Prince George) Buffie, Trisha, Jean     87%!

DEB02  5/24  22 yds. north #14 (Prince George) Chelsey, Debbie M., Bill    28%

7-31-22 Roots were a problem for DEB10 located just south #8mm on Arcadia. The inventory team sorts shells and unhatched eggs.
7-31-22 Volunteers dug out the nest contents of DEB09 which had a good hatch success of 87%! The Prince George folks at the inventories were very interested in learning about loggerheads.
7-31-22 Bill, Debbie M. and Chelsey discuss inventory procedure before excavating DEB02.
7-31-22 Mark educated an inquisitive crowd at the 2 Prince George inventories which were side by side.
