We received a photo from Rebecca Schaper this morning of a tiny, immature Kemps ridley that stranded just south of WW#6. She thoughtfully pulled the turtle up to the base of the dunes as the tide was rising. Bill, our stranding certified volunteer, went to measure the turtle (12 x 12 in.), determine cause of death and bury it. There were no visible signs of injury and the turtle had not been dead long. This information will be passed along to the SC Department of Natural Resources/
